  • Walk Regularly: Commit to walking at least 30 minutes on five days each week, even if it's broken into 10-minute segments.

The popular advice often suggests aiming for 10,000 steps a day, but the key is to establish a routine that’s sustainable and enjoyable for you. Walking boosts your mood, enhances cardiovascular health, and strengthens your joints. If 10,000 steps seem intimidating, remember that the real benefit lies in consistent movement.

If you’re not tracking your steps yet, use the first day of the month to get a baseline of your daily average. Many people typically clock in between 3,000 and 4,000 steps daily. Use this as your starting point to track your improvement by month's end. Don’t worry if you fall short on some days—life happens! Adjust your goals to fit your daily life realistically.
